    Good to see CNN Fast added to the LG TV channels, a nice channel to have along side our Saorview channels on the EPG.

    CNN Fast is also available on Rakuten TV app

    Is this exactly the same as the linear tv channel? Or a cut down service?

    It’s a pity CNN narrowed their distribution so much in recent times - of course, they were planning CNN+ at the time, but that met a swift end right after the Warner/Discovery merger.

    No definitely not the same as the Live channel.

    It's streaming all the news highlights, it's trying to attract a new audience, for people who want the news now.

    It's actually good.

    But I wonder if a major news story breaks, will they show that?

    It went on Rakuten TV app and LG TV's yesterday and will be on Samsung TVs in June

    In Ireland we are getting a total of 37 LG channels on the electronic program guide now, that's with the TV settings on Broadcast Country Ireland for TV and internet.

    If the TV is set to UK you get more channels, however they are in an app and not on a combined TV guide with Saorview.

    Having the tv set to Ireland with the combined LG channels on the TV guide with Saorview channels, is a great selection of channels now.
