How do I find out the future plans for the apartment complex being built near me?

I'm a renter looking to buy eventually

There's a complex being built near me and I'm interested in seeing prices/timelines/etc.

I've reached out to the developer directly to ask what is the plan for selling these but I've heard nothing back.

Is there another way to go about this as I'm interested in knowing how much the 1 bed apartments will be sold for, how are they being sold, and when will they be going on the market, if they haven't been bought up a vultures fund already.

Look at the grant of planning permission and read the documents. It will be online on the council website. Most likely it is being funded by ba vulture and will be build to rent. Very few developers are spec building apartments these days. n

Look up the planning application files, although these won't discuss any possible selling prices.

Likely these apartments have already been presold to a fund/REIT or prefunded by a fund to lease back to government or for mad rental prices as said by Claw hammer above.

According to the planning application they are not build to rent, so that's something to be grateful for. Can't find any details though on how they are being sold

It's very likely that any apartments that are newly built will be rentals only, I'm afraid.

Though, of course, in a situation where there's a chronic rental shortage the increase in housing supply in these situations is to be welcomed even if it doesn't satisfy everyone.
