Lidl Livarno LED Light Stip and Smartthings

    Apologies in advance if this was posted already.

    If you have the Smartthings app you do not need to download the lidl app in order to control the Livarno led strip.

    You need to enroll and install the following Edge driver

    You will also need a Smartthings account.


    Look for the invitation link "SmartThings. Add a little smartness to your things"

    Install the desired driver as there's quite a few

    Reboot the smartthings router after you install the driver then set the light strip in pairing mode and search for the light strip (in my case it was called LIDL TS0505A) in the Smartthings app.

    Alternatively if you use HA and you have a combee II dongle you can use it.
