Side Gate - Plastic Lumber Discoloration?

I have been onto a fair few companies and think we will probably go with plastic lumber side gate however one guy who does commercial and not residential so has no skin in the game said that plastic lumber can discolor after a few years, anyone have that experience or know about this?
