Changing Virgin Media TV Box - can you save what is on your old TV Box?

Hi, I am upgrading my TV box with Virgin Media. On our current TV Box there is some stuff recorded we want to keep. Is it possible to record what is on the current box before we replace it? Thanks in advance, DM

You can't transfer from old to new.
If you have a DVD recorder \ hard drive, you can save them to that.
But it's not quick, you basically need to play the episode on your TV and capture the output to the DVD recorder.
