Just watching the u20 hurling final. It can used as a case study as to why hurling is dead. Cork took the field to engage in cynical hits and repeated fouling and were aided and abetted by a totally incompetent ref

anyone prepping a team watching that will say - lads it’s back to the gym and anyone under six foot need not apply.

it’s sad to see really used to be a great game. Skill was the loser.

    Riddles, you're riddled with bullshit.

    Never heard such shyte.

The SHC threw up three or four instant classics over the previous two weekends, with magnificent skill on display.

Kilkenny's David Blanchfield is over 6'4 and a diminutive Wexford midfield enacted a plan to keep him very quiet.

This is no more than another thread to mask abuse of officials, as you have done by name.

You're possibly the only one in the country who thinks hurling is dead.

Weirdest thread I’ve seen here in a while.

Nope pretty consistent feeling among genuine hurling fans. Very hard to watch - cynicism is engrained in the game to the point refs are immune to it.

quote from a Cork poster on the other thread “We need to be more cynical and physical at senior level like we were today.” Enough said.

I believe both teams went off at half time with a yellow each.

This is the funniest opening post on boards. Fair going.

Could you show us evidence of this consistent feeling among ‘genuine hurling fans’.

I'm sure the Leinster Final tickets are selling like hot cakes as well.

This is going to become a thread to abuse officials, which isn't on. There are other threads to discuss today's final so I'm locking this one
