Water pump issues

    Hi everyone. I am having trouble with a pump on the well we have..To be fair the pump has been in service for a long while. I have been trying to prime the pump but it for some reason I cant get it to prime. Would there be any reason the casing wouldn't fill with water when I fill it through the priming point. The foot valve on the pump gave issues before. Just wondering would this be the reason of not being able to prime the pump. I haven't pulled the pipework up out of the well just yet to check the valve.

    I’d replace the foot valve for a start if you can and see if that helps.
