Possible mould around bedroom window

I'm repainting a bedroom that a tenant has lived in for eight years. Around the window (and up in the corners of that wall) is what looks to me like mould. Is it enough to wash those places with a bread soda or vinegar mix, and let it dry well before painting, or should I use a commercial product? And would it be a good idea to use a sealant around the (interior) edges of the window in case some damp is coming in there? 'Grateful for any advice.

It's probably mould from condensation, where there's moisture build-up after people were sleeping in the bedroom, and never opened the windows to let fresh air in and the moisture out. So unless there's an actual gap, then there's no need for any sealants.

Spray it with something like this and try and get the tenants into the habit of 'airing' the room in the mornings.
