I can get a little tanned, sallow.

I want to be real dark (yes I'm a dude).

But in the winter when there's no sun I go super white and want to be sallow.

Only way to attain this over a lifetime without getting skin cancer is going to be synthetic tan.

A women in the pharmacy recommended a "gradual tanning moisturizer"?

    ........

I'm a "fake tan" blank slate, but I know they can look "the part" when done well (agree/disagree?).

And any recommendations for fake tan options?

I even bought a belt type piece of material that allows you to apply tan and lotion n stuff to your back evenly.

Also as I engage in activities that often requires alot of on-skin friction, is it possible to get synthetic tan that doesn't peel off?

    So many choices.

    Gradual tan.

    Instant tan.

    Leave on overnight tan.

    .........

Gradual tan and overnight would probably suit you best if you're looking for something long lasting. Instant will come off in one shower. Best thing to do is just test them yourself and see what suits in terms of the application, colour, lasting power.

I've made I would say, about 10 application of Dove medium to dark gradual tan to existing tan lines.

It seems to have made virtually no impression at all.

Just an image sensitive dude, at that. Strictly into women.
