Fire Tablet doesn’t have access to the Google Play store out of the box. A bit of googling should sort you out - download some files and install them in the right order.

Pretty straightforward once you get the order correct.
Main thing is to download from a reliable source - ie https://www.wired.com/story/how-to-install-google-play-store-on-amazon-fire-tablet/

Android version (5, 9 or 11)will differ depending on how new / old your HD8 is.
