It seems that the collapse in Camper Van prices has finally happened.

Was just browsing DoneDeal to see where the camper van market was at and it seems that there are loads of vans out there at very reasonable prices. VW T4 registered campers are going for between €4-7K, much more reasonable than the prices of €10K + for old rust buckets last year. Lots of price drops to boot. Now is a good time to buy and theres a real potential to drive a hard bargain price.

Green van needs a lot of welding and a full respray by the end of it. You'll also need to strip out the interior and fix any damp from the inside. Probably a bare metal restoration. As it is it won't pass a CVRT. I just did the sills on my camper and got some painting done, not a full respray, two grand. You'd be looking at at least 6 to fix the green van. Unless you can do it all yourself. Oh and what's it like underneath

The red van, looks good but you'd need to spend about 3 on a new interior so still 10k+ and it has rebuilt engine.

My van needed work and I was offered a lot of money for it as was before Christmas, I thought about it but with the cash from the van + what I had saved to fix it up I didn't see anything better out there. I don't see any drive away zero work vans for 10K or even 15K at the moment that I like and I'm not that picky.
