Hi Guys. New to all this but learning a lot this week.

Im on Plus500 for years but only started learning properly this week, Can anyone tell me what the 20 odd instruments are under Amazon?

There is about 10 PUT and 20 CALL. Just noticed the PUT's went up 40c a share when the market opened at 14.40 and the CALL's went down the same amount.

You don’t need to be concerned with calls or puts , those are effectively bets on which way the stock moves , you can bet on which way it moves ( a call = up and a put = betting it goes down) on any given week

I’ve done it and both gained and lost but it’s pure gambling

Amazon itself is a good buy and while not overly expensive, I’d wait a week or two to see if it comes back a little

next question, How do you Short the DOW? i thought there would be some class of a button to short. I thought you cant short on Plus 500 but apparently you can?

Not at all. Just someone i know makes a lot of money off it and is at it full time.

He doesn't use plus500 tho but is sure you can short but i know you used be able to but i dont see it now?
