AIB credit card revoked

Hello guys, how long after AIB has revoked credit card do they write it off? Just looking at my credit report from ccr and noticed they only wrote off the debt after 14 months of revoking the card. Is this the same for every other banks?

The statute is 6 yrs in Ireland, are you sure AIB have written off your debt? Is it under €500?
Errors can occur on the ccr, and if you apply for any loan for the next 5 yrs, information about your debt will be there for lenders to see.

Read the FAQ on the CCR site, the debt will remain on the report until it is settled and only after that will the removal process begin. The statute bar is a defense in court and since the implementation of the EU directive is no of much practical use these days.
