we live in a council house and i'm considering putting ptz hikvision camera. Does anyone knows any laws regarding this? the camera will have privacy mask over public road and neighbours area, but it will have auto tracking function. Am I allowed to record a person, who entered my driveway, done something illegal and left…

Am I allowed to record a person, who entered my driveway, done something illegal and left my property. Is it legal if camera tracks that person untill he leaves camera's view? Camera is capable to record him even 100-200 meters away.
