Netgear Wireless access point question

Hi folks,

I bought a netgear AX1800 wireless access point in an effort to improve wifi all over my home.

I tried to connect to Vodafone router and it doesnt support poe (my mistake for not checking).

I am led to believe that a poe injector would work. Can anyone recommend a cheap one that would work for me? Dont have a power source in attic to supply power to the unit were I to buy the power supply so only other method is to supply power at the router point via an injector I assume?

Check the specs for your Netgear though, it may require POE+ in which case you need a different model:

Yea the second one. The Ubiquiti ones are decent too but getting the TP links from Amazon probably cheaper especially if you have Prime or need something else that brings the value up enough for free shipping.

Thanks, yeah, it says to use a PoE+ switch that supplies 802.3at power. That be the second one so?
