I'm struggling with the system of shots. Tried 3 click, couldn't make head nor tail of it. Right stick I'm fine on t-off but my short game is very off. Greens I have no bother. I keep getting duff shots in my mid game and I don't understand why. It says often that I have pulled slow but I can't see my timing off by that much. Anyone able to advise. I played 2 rounds and a load of practice. Just anything other than 100% power and it's iffy.

Thanks lads, beginners luck I think. I switched to the 3 click system and it made a huge difference, most shots were fairly accurate. just my putting that needs improvement. I found the par 3's really tough, 5 and 6 shots :-( Looking forward to the next events, best of luck everyone

Hhmmm might try the 3 click again. I tried career mode last night, that first course in Boston. Started well with birdies and pars and a few frustrating greens sent me down the boards. Ah still, top 50 finish, no problem. "You have failed to finish top 50, try again next year" 😂

Yeah getting used to the 3 click system now and improving. I still can have some nightmare double and triple bogey holes which is frustrating. But we will keep practicing.

Just wondering if there is any interest in having a 2-3 round events to fill up the days in between competitions? I take it if say you didn't play today you could play both rounds on the next day, is that how it works?

10th hole destroyed my challenge went into the water 3 times in a role 10 shots on a par 4 and it has destroyed my confidence 😭

Well that was a disaster +11 I was doing well up until the 10th and after that just couldn't recover nothing would drop. Feeling Happy Gilmore levels of rage at the moment

For practice I Did Adare Manor(created by Hawkeye 1991) there just to get a feel of the course so playing three click amateur level windy conditions and got -4 for my round which will translate into +18 during competition.

Will damn, finished +8 not mostly got birds and pars. After the bad 1st hole, I had 2 other holes relate the ball kept swinging to one side going into the water. +8 on 1 and +2 on the other so i should have finished closer to even on that.

The psn store says you need ps plus for online play, I don't know if societies is that group as well as your not playing live against someone. If you have the game, go to the menu, competitive, societies and search boards.ie. if you can see that, send a request to join and someone on here will accept :)

Yupp only 1 event can be live at a time I'm afraid. Maybe after the next few scheduled events, I'll try 2 day ones to get new ones quicker but can go back to 3 of there's low numbers.

Was thinking of complaining to Sony about the 2K servers. They obviously paid a bundle to 2K to make it a plus game and the infrastructure can't handle it all so they can load some live ads for us to buy things. 2K scum.

The online ranked would disconnect 1 in every 4-5 games

The game has cross play for other online modes, just not societies.

I think that's why we have the PS smybol next to our name.

Does make it confusing though haha!

A disappointing round of 69 even par there on Craggy Island. I like that course and regularly get -5 to -8 on it Just the nerves get to me and make some stupid mistakes. Still an improvement on +10 from last tournament 😬

Never played it before and took me a while to stop laughing on the 12th tee, I think it was.

I played only 2 bad shots on my round and one of them cost me a bogey.
