Pet medications outside Ireland

A friend is able to get her pet prescription filled in the UK online. I have very expensive ongoing meds for my dog. They are less than half price in the UK. But they won't accept prescription from non UK vet. Does anyone know can you get them in the EU or Northern Ireland?

The problem you're going to have is that they're likely to be stopped by customs coming in. I used to order from UK and use eg parcel wizard which are gone since Brexit :(
