Ultimately Fijis handling and goal kicking let them down. They're still 10% short despite hugely improving.

World Rugby need to stand Matthew Carely down though for the rest of the tournament. He was abysmal. To the point of genuinely having an influence on the game.

That was Barnes 2007 incompétence. But probably worse. Wales were so cynical not to mention their “injuries”. If only he hadn’t spilled the ball with the line open.
