No thread for this, with third season started recently. I've watched the first two seasons, and it didn't take long to fall in love with it. Shot through with charm and gentle humour, tinged with melodrama played out really well. I normally steer clear of teenage stuff, but this is so different from the vast majority of the rest.

"Following the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma who steal, rob and save in order to get to the exotic, mysterious and faraway land of California. To succeed, they will have to save enough money, outmaneuver the methheads at the junkyard on the edge of town and survive a turf war against a much tougher rival gang. This first-of-its-kind creative team tells a story that resonates with them and their lived experiences -- and invites audiences into a surprisingly familiar and funny world."

One I've been meaning to get around to but kinda put on the long finger.

Worth mentioning that it's a Taika Waititi show along with co-creator Sterlin Harjo

Definitely Waititi-flavoured humour, with an indigenous people's setting. The 'unknown warrior' is hilarious.

Episode 5 done in season three, and it's disappointing so far compared to first 2 seasons, which were really enjoyable. Thought episode 4 was bringing it back to the way it was, but it's just very disjointed and ambling atm.

First half of season 3 felt a bit too tangential, but ended quite strongly, I can see though how the first half gave a better glimpse of how indigenous folklore would give different perspectives on life than perhaps 'we' might have. Really liked how Bear could be seen as the main character, but everyone had their story told poignantly without being mawkish. Loved the ending. Lovely slowburn comedy drama.
