I moved from Scotland to Dublin with my car . My insurance covers me for driving fully taxed and MOT not up until May 24. I thought I would, at least have 12 months on having my car here , while I look for work and settle in just incase it doesn't work. I am now here 2 months. I am now here 2 months. Can anyone give me the correct procedure as gov ie is not clear. Do I contact NCT , then register with revenue and apply for Irish licence . Will I have to pay duty , I've had the car for 6 years.
Any help would be appreciated.
