Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Baby in Taxi with Car Seat?

Heading to Kilarney next week for a few nights. We have a 10 month old girl. Our hotel is a few minutes from the city.

So I was wondering, do most taxis not care if you have a baby and a car seat? The car seat sits into the pram so we would fling that into the boot after wrapping the car seat with the seat belt in the back.

Personally, it wouldn't bother me as long as you took the responsibility for securing the belt around the car seat and thus reasonable responsibility for your child in the event of an accident.

When my little one was a baby, we regularly took taxis with our own car seat and never had any issues or complaints. Quiet the opposite most drivers were lovely about it.

As Spook says above, you will need to secure it yourself.

Thanks a lot both! The baby seat has seat belt slots around it so it can be secured without needing the base.

I'll try it before our trip so as to not run the taxi meters up too much when attempting it while the meter is running 😅
