Good exhaust fitter, south dublin

Hi folks - looking for any recommendations for someone who won't blank out in fear when I arrive with a 51 year old Citroen DS to have the exhaust fitting adjusted. It's a stainless system in good condition with brand new mounts, straps, etc., but it's noisy, vibrates and I think is blowing.

Very quite around here lately.

Not Southside but Discount Tyres in Blanchardstown are great and work on old cars. They’d a Mercedes 600 Pullman on the ramp one day when I was there. They put a new exhaust on my 190D 2 years ago, no hassle.

If it’s too far too travel, try posting this again in the main forum, you may get a better response, Classics has gotten very quiet this year.

Did you go for the standard SS or the higher grade type?

Hi DS, long time since I have heard from you. Are Dunlaoghaire Motor Worx still around, they used to do a lot of exhaust work a few years ago.

Unfortunately not the P1800, It went back to the UK a few years ago. I do miss that car as I had it the way I wanted it however, the money went towards the mortgage deposit. I also had a Volvo 123GT that also was picked up by a collector in the UK, again to fund the house purchase. I did however pick up a Volvo Amazon 2 door at the same time as I sold the P1800 and spent the next few years restoring it. Its nearly finished and like the 123GT its a far more practical car than the 1800 albeit not as beautiful. Good to see you still have the DS20 I assume.

Only needed two sections replaced so just went with a standard grade exhaust.

They are in Trim so a bit of a drive but did an exhaust for my camper in 2011 ish still going strong. They make customs so will be able to sort you out
