US Pre Clearance

So myself and my friend are heading to Vegas for a big birthday of hers (one of the roundy numbers) next month.

I've been to Vegas before, mainly going through the UK so clearing stateside -only once have I gone through Pre-Clearance in Dublin and that was 8 years ago, so I just have a few questions.

We've applied and been approved for our ESTA using a group application (we thought it made sense as we're travelling together on the same booking) but now wondering about Pre-Clearance. Do we proceed to pre-clearance together or separately? And do we fill out one customs form or two?

You don't fill out Customs Forms, you may be asked if you have anything to declare by an Agent.

If you're traveling as a 'group' you proceed to the desk together.

If travelling dub-lon first you'd not be going through preclearence in Dublin surely? Btw enjoy Vegas was there earlier this yr and it's gone fierce expensive but also gotten a lot crazier (in a good way) .

When you say it's gone expensive can you be more specific ? Food and drink I'm assuming ?

Also on the subject of pre clearance how long before take off do passengers get to go through ?

As early as u want but slim pickings food and drinks wise once through. Good in likes of the fast food places is way more than here. You are talking 20€ for a large plain pizza in most pizza joints. Slices crazy expensive. Tips have gone out of control 20% plus and lots now sneaking extra service charges onto bill.
