Has anybody added a touchscreen to a non-touchscreen Windows laptop?

I just bought a new laptop with decent specs (Asus Vivobook S 15.6: 16GB RAM, 12TH Gen iCore5, 512SSD, Windows 11) assuming it had a touchscreen as a standard. When I opened it, it didn't and because I opened it Currys refused to take it back. I'm so used to a touchscreen that I want to find a way to add a touchscreen to a non-touchscreen laptop.

Apparently, it can be done with Windows laptops "because Windows has touch input built into the operating system.... Even if the computer doesn't come with that [touchscreen] it's still underlying in Windows" (Source: 1:57 in this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSELoRkV_88). That video recommends the Neonode AirBar - 15.6" Touch Screen Sensor. It's on Amazon.com for $84 here: https://www.amazon.com/AirBar-Neonode-Touchscreen-Windows-Notebooks/dp/B01N3MHMSF?th=1

It gets a positive review here for Windows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR5r1EfvheI

However, 'A: AirBar is ONLY supported for Windows 10. ALL other operating systems are NOT recommended or supported. Chrome OS, Linux, Ubuntu, macOS etc. are NOT supported with AirBar for Windows 10.' (https://neonode.com/airbar) so I'm back to the start.

Are there alternative products for a Windows 11 laptop which could make this non-touchscreen laptop a touchscreen? Or would there be disadvantages in replacing my current Windows 11 by installing Windows 10 instead? Thanks.

It's not easier to sell it and buy a new one.
