Wooden bridge fishing

Hi people I used to fish the wooden bridge area when I was a kid.just wondering has anybody gone their recently was wanting to find out if it still a decent spot to catch few brown trout. I want to bring my kids to experience river fishing.not looking to overfish or keep everything I catch.
