Not many movies these days allow us to examine our own lives. Of course there are other ways a movie can entertain you, but it's few I can actually think of as I type this. 'Office Space' - great movie... no need to say why.
'Bitter Moon' - Not a perfect movie by any means (directed by a rapist) but still I loved the way it explored the theme of love from a man's point of view... almost like as if there's a rule against this today.
