Hello everyone! I hope you can help...

I bought a second hand car last week from a dealer and he told me he was going to register the change of ownership online...still haven't received anything as of today and ,when texted him 2 days ago to ask for an update, he told me it was all done and that he was going to check online..well, he did and told me it just "went out" then, on the 29th of August. I am just so confuse and I am worried he's lying, I checked on motortax and the website says there were no changes for the last 6 weeks...does anyone know how long does it take for the logbook to bw received via post once the change is done online? Help!!!

The change should show online almost immediately and your registration cert follows in less than 2 weeks normally. If there is no change showing on the Motor tax website then there is an issue somewhere. Ask the dealer to put it through again.

You only bought the car last week. Give it a few more days at least
