Awful flooding in Scotland with that continous rainfall the eastern side is in an Amber warning ⚠️ for heavy rain, its just crazy the amount of rain that has already fallen since yesterday

a lovely warm day but no sun at all today, imagine if we had blue skies today somewhere would have gotten 25C and records probably would have been broken.

Very pleasant day was a bit of sun but predominately grey slate. The warmer than Malaga headlines are grand but talking to family out there the sun is splitting the stones and they are on the beach and in the water.

Got up close to 20C here near Tralee today, great to get the grass cut and leaves tidied up, been outdoors in short sleeves for hours . Fields busy near me with silage being cut the last few hours. Mostly overcast and calm, a few rays of hazy sunshine but cloudcover held tough.

We were on the beach and in the water today in Portmarnock😁

OK no sun and grey skies but on the plus side, beach wasn't packed like a summer day!

Looks like no let up in the rain over Scotland overnight!

It was hard to believe last night was a night in October. It felt warmer than many nights of the summer just gone. It will be a bit of a shock to the system when the cooler weather comes back next week

Third day of mist in Cork, I knew this spell wouldn't give us anything at all but it still sucks.

Sun was out for 2 minutes you could really feel the heat...cloudy now you can only feel the warm air when it gets sunny...cold enough when its cloudy

Milky sun in South Dublin. Feels really hot and humid yet everything including the light looks like autumn. Slightly surreal

A better day in Dublin today. Yesterday was completely dull, cloudy, and humid. Today is brighter, with intermittent sunshine, and slightly fresher. As good a day as we had the majority of the summer. Lower humidity and some healthy fresh air would make it perfect.

A lovely 22°c in West Clare, intermittent hazy sun which is currently shining on me.

Weather apps say 16°c and cloudy mind! Just shows how useless they are.

Edit: Weather station now saying 22.8°c and dead calm, not sure if I even believe it!

a lovely day in Meath, plenty of sunshine earlier but has fully clouded up again but still warm. Hard to believe we've had more warm days already this October compared to the rubbish we had to put up with throughout July.

Very pleasant day in Galway. Cycling around in a t-shirt and got the lawn done earlier.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Dublin may have its highest overnight temperature for October on Tuesday morning, i mean 20c is pretty insane for October
