    I am unable to port forward the traffic from Eir FTTH to Google Wifi

    I can see the ports open on Google Wifi LAN IP Address and can ssh onto the required local IP

    But the port forwarding between Eir FTTH to google wifi is not working

    Has someone able to work this out

    kindly help

    Detail on how current hardware setup would help.

    Is Eir router in Bridge mode?

    The ports have been opened up in the firewall

    The bridge mode is not enabled

    The traffic from 61222 is NOT being passed onto the WAN IP 192.168.1.2 on port 22

    If I tried to ssh onto 192.168.1.2

    > curl -v telnet://192.168.1.2:22

    *  Trying 192.168.1.2:22...

    * TCP_NODELAY set

    * Connected to 192.168.1.2 (192.168.1.2) port 22 (#0)

    SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_8.4p1 Debian-5+deb11u1

    So if you have any ideas - kindly let know... have been on this for last 2-3 days

    Also if the ssh service is down on the port forwarded device, the port doesn't seem to be open, but when I turn on the sshd daemon, the port again is open as depicted in screenshot below

    Thanks in advance

    Further update

    The port forwarding is working as I stop the sshd daemon on the target device - the port then shows as closed on the external IP

    But I cannot ssh onto the public IP on port 61222.

    I am missing something very trivial. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    "WAN IP 192.168.1.2" - its LAN or are you on double NAT? What is the IP's you get on devices that are connected to G ?
