KBC mortgage transfer

    We transferred over from KBc to BOI with our tracker mortgage. Last year when we came into some money put it into our mortgage on the premise that if we overpaid and needed some back in th future that was doable. It seemed like great idea.

    Fast forward to present day- rang BOI today to look to get a small bit of that money as husband on reduced hrs with illness and we are told - not possible because we haven’t over paid on our mortgage with BOI since we were moved to them in feb . We said u can see from our history that we paid in last year a considerable sum and we’re told BOI have no idea of our history with KBC?? Only what they have with us since transfer. Shocked at this as basically we were told conditions of the mortgage would not change at all with transfer , and we recently lots of letters of reassurance . Can they do this, any advice please thanks
