Vodafone over Virgin Media Coax and IPv4

I'm tired of been over charged by VM. I may have gotten this wrong but I've read that VM and Vodafone did deal where you can get Vodafone over the VM cabling.

I also have to have IPv4 as my work VPN only supports that. Do VF support IPv4?

Anybody got any experience with them?

Running fiber into the house is possible. SIRO is on the pole. But getting to where I want it would take so work hence why I prefer to stick to coax for now.

I don't believe its Vodafone over the VM co-ax cabling but I may be wrong. I understood that its VM via SIRO (using the Vodafone back haul)

Have you asked VM for a deal? Usually if you threaten to cancel they will make an offer and it’s up to you then to bargain.

Afaik VM are still using ipv6 DS-lite.

You can contact their support and request an ipv4 address.

I'm tired if having to do that stupid dance every year and don't want to waste time on the phone with them. Want a price that stays low I'd sooner switch.

I put in a mesh wifi at home, all I need to is clone the VM wifi to a guest networks for our heating, printer and chromecasts... and then I can shutdown the VM wifi and change to whoever.
