I’m travelling to Northern Ireland this weekend which is a rare experience for me!

What items are cheaper in Northern Ireland ?

eg shopping, electronics etc 🙂

Alcohol is the number 1 on everyone's list when going shopping. Electronics such as TVs etc are generally that wee bit cheaper as are the likes of car tyres. After that its a bit of a mixed bag with some items cheaper or dearer.

In Sainsburys, Boots etc they have generic OTC meds much cheaper than here eg painkillers, lemsip knockoffs, cold sore cream, ibuprofen gel.

Alcohol, toiletries. Have a look on the supermarket websites to do a comparison before you go so you know where the savings are.

Get yourself a Tesco Clubcard and Sainsbury's Nectar card for maximum discounts.

No, it doesn't work. You have to have a NI\UK card.
