Cannot find Form 11 on ROS

This may be a stupid question, with a swift resolution, but I cannot find anywhere on ROS to file my income tax return.

Long story, have had 'issues' with my former accountant, as such I find myself with a need to submit my Form 11 for 2022 myself, not with them, as they have done before. I have all the numbers, money earned, credits, tax paid, receipts etc., however I cannot seem to find the Form 11 submission on ROS. I have looked at online step-through docs, but I do not seem to have the option to select 'Income Tax' on the 'Complete online form' part. See below -

Any ideas? I'm loathe to try and contact revenue for assistance as they takes ages to respond. I am a propriety director of a company used for IT contracting, and am logged into ROS under the company's name/ID.

You need to log into ROS under your personal detail (your PPS number) to see your income tax and Form11.

The company is a separate entity.

ROS, or MyAccount? When I login to MyAccount, there is no option there either, and when I try to "Review my tax", it says it is unavailable as I am a director of a company, and need to do it through ROS

If you are logged in on ROS as the Company, you'll never find a form 11 as the company files Corporation tax returns under CT. The company is seperate to you so has its own ROS profile. You need to login to ROS under your own profile (your own ppsn) where you will be registered for income tax in your own right as you are a seperate entity to the company. You'll be able to file your form 11 Income Tax return then.

You need to log in under ROS as yourself as an individual. To do that you need to have the correct Digital Certificate on your computer.

Your accountant likely has your certificate on their computer, so you need your own on your computer. You’ll be up and running then, and the Income Tax will appear in options, then the option to fill out Form 11, and don’t forget later to both file & then pay, they are two separate transactions.

Would you not contact another accountant? If you don't know what you're doing you could end up costing yourself in the long run.

I am in the process of getting another one for the company, but got an email from revenue about the 2022 personal submission, and was wondering if i could just do it myself, and was trying to find the pre-populated form on ROS but to no avail

You can, but you need to log into ROS as yourself not the company. Form 11 is for individuals not for companies.

You have until November 15th to file and pay your income tax return. An accountant who does your corporation tax would do your Form11 as part of the process for a small fee

I wouldn't have thought so. More likely the accountant has an agent account that contains all of their clients. That is what I have anyway.

A new client fills out an agent link which is submitted by the accountant and then they can act on your behalf
