Flights to Carcassonne

    Just saw that there are no flights from dublin to Carcassonne from November 1st. Is this a ryanair tactic to negotiate with airport ?

    There are no flights to Girona Toulouse or Bezier either. Pain if you live in the area.

    We’ve been watching the flights for months hoping this too. I was hoping because of the new airport maybe there was more negotiation on fees and they were playing hardball - but on the Carcassonne airport website it has Dublin and Cork as summer only flights now.


    I don’t remember when Carcassonne was last a summer only flight. Last year in particular every flight we were on was full, and the Christmas and February midterms are always packed. No flights to Montpellier, and Shannon-Beziers, Dublin-Girona and Dublin-Perpignan, are all summer only flights now. The nearest airport to that area is Toulouse (two and a half hour drive for us) our Marseille (3 hour drive).
