    sony warranty or prime support outside UK

    does anyone know if sony warranty for products purchased in UK work in Ireland?

    i am planning to buy a projector in UK and get it shipped to northern ireland.

    the retailer does not ship to ireland. so i can ship to friends house in belfast and collect it.

    will the sony prime support work in ireland too?

    i asked the UK retailer but he does not know.

    for their store warranty i have to ship to their UK address (which i can understand)

    but i want to know if in problem i can ship to the SONY IE support.

    i dont want to be stuck when i have an issue with projector 

    i have asked this question on sony support too but no reply yet.

    any info please help.
