These are all size eu40 but the actual sizing of them varies. They vary in the level of use they've had. I'm in Dublin 16
Specialized shoes, true to size, well used, worn SPD cleats attached.
Cannondale shoes, large fit, lightly used:
Shimano shoes, true to size (I think), lightly used:
Shimano Goretex boots, slightly large fit, moderate use, worn SPD cleats attached. Stitching on outer side of one boot has come away, the boots are still usable as is but it should be straightforward to repair or have a cobbler repair it:
