Expired PSC Card

Hello

I have been approved for Jobseekers Benefit to start next week. I see my PSC Card expired in 2020. Does anybody know if this will work in the post office or do I need get a brand new one?

I doubt it will work, you can renew through my welfare, just need a good photo, I had mine back within a week. Check settings on your phone camera as format of photograph important.

Keep in mind you have to collect your payment on the day, there's will disagree but payments for Jobseekers returned if not collected

If the payment is not collected during the day/week, it is possible to request for it to be released later on. However this requires a form being filled out in Intreo, and from my experience, took ~2 weeks to be available from An Post.

You can get a temporary card from your local SW office while your new card is being processed. You won’t be able to collect your JSB with the expired card.

I ordered a new one online. It says 7-10 days wait. I will go to the SW office to get a temporary permission slip to present next week at the Post office and of course bring my passport.
