New entrant/First Gen Farmers

Just said id ask a question: is there anyone else on here who's farming but like me may not have grown up on a farm?. Myself & herself are both from a rural area but didnt have a farm of our own growing up. I was wondering how others got started, accessed land etc if starting from scratch. The UK seems to be somewhat easier to start farming with the access to farm business tenancies etc.

Anyway intrested to hear how others may have got started or even any ideas on how to build up enough land to make it a viable enterprise. (Currently have about 90 sheep but its very much a part time gig)

With the new derogation coming in and price of land going up you'd have to win the lotto to get set up from scratch.

Maybe look into share farming.
