I know, the more you look the more you find something cheaper! I have bought loads of bits only to find them cheaper the next time I have a look, but once it's a bargain I don't mind overpaying a few cents!

I’ve used Temu a lot last few weeks and have to say most of the stuff is A1 and considerably cheaper than most other sites.

Is everyone finding Temu ok and trustworthy yeah? Had heard just few things that made me bit reluctant but loads I'd love to order 🤣. I'm sure it would be safe with disposable credit card?

Is is normal to have delays with Temu Orders being delivered. I placed an order that was due for delivery between the 08Sep-15Sep. It was handed over to GLS on the 11Sep according to the Tracking info.

It hasn't arrived as of this post today and when I contacted GLS they have stated that delays in customs are the reason.

Temu have already issued a €5 credit on my account as it failed to arrive before the 15Sep.

It was my first order and its only for €20 worth of stuff. Nothing special (Bathroom fixings, A Plumbing Tool, USB C Cable and a Ring)

A few had similar issues with GLS I think but bottom line is you get €5 credit and if you complain possibly a full refund and maybe keep the order for free.

Similar here, was expecting my order to be delivered Sept 15th. Got a message from Temu to say was getting €5 credit. Checked in on the website during the week, and was given offer of refund & if I received the package, I did not have to return it.

I received the package today.

As a general rule when shopping online PayPal offers greater consumer protection, Revolut is good for foreign currency purchases but you use what you prefer

180 days if you need a refund I think with PayPal and you get to speak to someone in Ireland the last time I had any issues with a purchase and it was sorted on the phone straight away.

yes they are very good to use as a buyer for protection and used to cover return postage but they stopped that sadly

Place a small order €15 on 19th, got delivery via my postie this morning - 8 days. Quite impressed with the quality for the price, and the delivery. Good transit information provided along the way. I used to use Banggood, and before that buyincoins.

Wonder where their fulfillment centre is, since it all comes one the one package unlike the others and AliExpress? Just placed another small order with them on 21st and An Post alert just arrived this minute giving delivery tomorrow. Wow!

Look at the material if ordering t shirts, I bought some that were 100 percent cotton no issues at all, the majority are crappy polyester though

I think they do promotions if you download the app on your mobile but not 100% on that, I just use the laptop when buying because I have enough sh1te being sent to my phone!

I know if someone has an account and they refer someone and the app is downloaded there’s vouchers available for the person downloading and the person that shares it gets credit

From my experience, there's an huge amount of crap on these sites, there's also a huge amount of perfectly decent stuff at very good discounts. The real answer lies somewhere in between "sure everything's made in China anyway" and "just don't by trainers or stuff like that"

Most people would want to try on a brand of trainers before buying them to at least get a guide of fit comfort and suitability for the user, taking a random pint on unbranded footwear is okay I guess but if they are no good just send them back, that’s the great thing about a return policy
