Not sure if this is the right section for this?

Looking to get 3 mattresses collected and removed in Dublin. One King, one Double and one Single. The company we are getting the new mattresses from have quoted 50 euro per mattress (its an external provider who does this). Rubbish taxi quoting 115 for the 3. Could probably fit the single in the car and bring it down to the north strand recycling for 20 euro. Anyone know of any other, cheaper options out there?

Try to find a man with a van or truck who's registered for waste removal, or could you borrow a trailer? They're a pain to get rid of.

Some places if you are buying a new mattress they take away the old one, sometimes free sometimes a fee can depend on retailer.

Thanks for the replies guys. It looks like Dublin City Council collect up to 5 items for 40 yoyos which is great value.
