Net Relevant Earnings for PAYE AVC tax relief

Hi I am amending my tax return for 2022 to claim tax relief for an AVC that I just made and I don't know what to put in the 'Net relevant earnings' box on the AVC page of the tax return. I only have a PAYE income, no other source of income or losses, etc.

The 'Employment gross income' box is already filled automatically with my total PAYE income for 2022.

I think the amount I should put in the 'Net relevant earnings' is the 'Income' amount in my Statement of Liability for 2022, which is my gross income less total pension contributions, because when I use that number the 'Allowable AVC relief' value the form calculates is correct. Meaning it is the same as I got with a Mercer 'once-off pension payment' calculator. But I don't want to get it wrong so I would like to be sure.

    Thanks for any help.
