Vodafone tv anywhere app

Couldn't get the app to work on my phone so I tried reinstall it again to be told that my mobile wasn't compatible with the the app I'm assuming that the updates since my first download resulted in the incompatibility , does this mean I have to change my phone to get this app any idea's folks 🙃.
