Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does the registration recognised on the NCT booking website

Check the number on the tax/NCT/Insurance disc matches the number on the registration plates, possibly incorrect plate fitted at some stage.

Did the motor factor's say the reg number was invalid or that they had no information about the car from searching the reg? Their system may not have information about Japanese imports using the car's reg number. That is different to the reg number not being valid.

Sounds like the issue is with the motor factor's database. You could try a different motor factors but I'm guessing your mechanic probably gets a generous discount for being a regular customer at that particular motor factors.

Maybe try putting the reg into micksgarage.ie and see if it finds it.
