Want to unsubscribe from updates on threads I posted in

It seems once you post in a thread you get A notification of every future post in the thread. Sometimes after a while you may no longer want them notifications. Am I missing something? How do you disable these updates?

Review your settings here: https://www.boards.ie/profile/preferences/. Especially "New comments on posts I've participated in" - if it's on, you get notifications for any discussion you've commented on.

You can't change this on a discussion-by-discussion basis - it's either on for all or none. Personally, I've found the best settings to be off for everything except "New comments on my bookmarked posts" - that way you can manually control which discussions have notifications on, just bookmark or not. However, it doesn't work great if you want to have a fast-moving discussion in your bookmarks, but not receive notifications
