Flooring problem

Hi, I am about the move into a new build house and have already purchased my wood flooring (18mm + 3mm underlay). When visiting the house I noticed that the gap between the underside of the front door to the top of screed is only 15mm. Does anyone know what the regulations are for unfinished floor height?

If I am to do remedial work what are my best options?

The door should be adjustable within reason but on a new build it should be part of the snag list for the builder to make good.

18mm is a pretty thick wood floor, do you mind me asking does the new house have underfloor heating

18mm is pretty standard for solid hardwood flooring. Softwood is typically thicker, 21/22mm

When you signed the contracts to purchase did you have any clause regarding your intention to install solid wood flooring?

I didn't see anything there either that's why I wondered if the OP has advised the builder of their plan for the floor.
