Moss on Roof

    Hi,

I think this comes up a bit, but if anyone has any recommendations for companies that can clean and treat a roof that has a lot of moss on it. It's really annoying. If suggestions are against the rules, my apologies.

One company has recommended use some copper to help reduce the amount of moss. Would this help?

I can't help with a company that will clean it but on the copper - yes, it does work/help. I did a trial on a slanting tiled roof of a shed

The roof is about 4mtrs wide and I split some old copper pipe and flattened it out. I ran the copper strip on about 2mtrs of the roof and it is much clearer of moss than the other side

There are purpose made copper strips for the ridge of a house roof. A quick search would find them

OP, there was a cock-up on the communications front as the boards site threw a wobbler last week and didn't register that reply^
