Organic feed for lambing

    Just thinking ahead here. What did people feed in lamb ewes last year? Bales etc not an option here as I'm not set up to handle heavy fodder. Thinking more about nuts, concentrates, straights I can mix myself. Brands, prices per ton and results would be helpful, thanks 👍️

    Combi ( barley/pea) mixed with oats and minerals here last year, along with good silage. Milked well was happy with it, heard organic soya has dropped in price this year too. have yet to find an organic nut I like the look off tbh

    Hi Cran, where did you get that from? What part of the country are you in? I was in touch earlier today with the guy I had planned to get some off but he said his harvest was a disaster!!

    grow it myself. Based in the south east, tough harvest this year think will be hard got tbh as move into the winter.
