Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They don't look like slates if that's any good to ya.

It's a very weathered concrete tile, could be a Marley Ludlow tile, manufactured under licence by CPI in Ireland.

Yup, look like concrete tiles ( from profile probably made 40's / 50's ? )

They look the same colour albeit thicker than the asbestos tiles which were on my roof until recently.

Only a thought, might not be. Others might know.

    Redland 49?

House here built in '49 ( Marley tiles used - believe Redland were main comp at the time ) .

I'd GUESS you would be very lucky to get a flashing 'KIT' ( no harm in trying :) )

May have to create what ever is needed

Are you putting in dormer windows ?

Dormers here from the start - double rafter each side of the window cutout and rafter in centre cut short - a fair amount of detail involved :(

They are concrete roof tiles, also know as concrete pantiles, flashing kits freely available for roof windows, otherwise roof windows wouldn't be sold, the manufacturer's name is usually stamped on the underside but it won't matter who made them as the correct flashing kit with be adaptable to the tile profile, just be sure to tell the supplier your tiles have a profile, as flat concrete tiles and slates all have different flashing kits
