Usually I have my apples harvested at this time of year but so far they are far from ready to come away. It's a good sized crop of large apples. Has anybody found them late this year?

My bramley were hardly worth gathering, all damaged in some way, scabby, bird damage, very small. Previous two years got great crop and there were a lot of apples this year, but hardly worth picking.

Amazing crop of pears though on trees that had barely fruited previously - in fact I didn't know one of them was a pear tree - beautiful fruit.
