Is buying an apartment in Grove Court Blanchardstown a wise decision?

This apartment (1 bhk) was built around 2006-2007 and there were not many strict building regulations back then so was wondering if buying here would be a good purchase. Are there any fire safety or water leakage issues here that anybody knows of? Or, does anyone know where I can find such info on buildings before buying? Is there an official website/record of this?

There's another option to buy a brand new apartment (1.5 bhk) for 60k more in a similar area. So, can't decide which one would be better. Would be really helpful if you could share your experience, if you've gone through the same journey.

A family member has an apartment in Grove Court and while some work was done on the cladding of the building there has been no major problems. I think if anything was going to show up it would have by now as the buildings are also used by the HSE and Fingal Co. Co. so you would hope extra fire checks have been carried out following problems at other locations.

It's a great location amd very good transport options near.

The easiest way to check if there are issues is to look at the accounts of the management company and compare to others. If the insurance cost is way out of line, then there are problems identified by the insurance company.
